Manara Islamic Centre (demo) is run by the community, for the community. Your gift keeps the prayers going and helps build a place for learning, youth and families.

Where should your gift go?

Where it's needed most: Prayers, upkeep and daily running of the center.
Sadaqah: Voluntary charity for the center's programs and people in need.
Zakat: Kept apart and spent only on the eligible categories of zakat.
Ramadan: Iftars, taraweeh and Ramadan programs.
Building fund: The building and its future.
Kids school: Islamic, Arabic and Quran classes for children.
Emergency relief: Help for families in sudden need.
Zakat al-fitr: Paid before the Eid prayer and given to families in need for Eid.
Qurbani: The Eid al-Adha sacrifice, made on your behalf. It is a purchase: no tax receipt.
Fidya: Meals for people in need, one for each fast day that cannot be made up.
Kaffarah: Expiation paid by feeding people in need, kept apart.
